News from Holy Trinity

Ghana News.

I have had a letter from Barnabas, who is now at Techiman and whose parish of St Andrew’s is linked with St Blasius, Shanklin. He works hard as a High School teacher and Parish Priest. He has managed to make one of the rooms in his mission house (vicarage) into an office, but the church building is still an on-going project, as a rainstorm destroyed the pillars just before the roof was due to be put on. He asks for our prayers, so please pray for Barnabas and his parish. Many of you will  remember him as a very energetic and enthusiastic Parish Priest when he was at Wenchi, St Catherine’s linked parish.

A brief explanation of Holy Trinity‘s involvement with Tamale.
When I looked back, I realised that our links with Tamale and the Day Centre are now coming up for four years old, and during that time I calculate (yes, I have got a list!) that we‘ve sent out about £1800, which includes the money from Graham‘s Ghana Adventure, in dribs and drabs, to Tamale. We‘ve also sent a constant supply of boxes with clothes, toiletries and stationery to Tamale, Bolgatanga and Wenchi.
