ARRANGING A FUNERAL FOR A LOVED ONE

Arranging a funeral for a loved one can be a difficult experience. In our parishes we have colleagues who are willing to assist in the planning of this very special occasion. Sometimes people think that because they don't attend church regularly they can't have the service of thanksgiving for the death of a loved one in the church building.

We try to encourage as many as possible to have their services in church, and we welcome the opportunity of being alongside you to plan this occasion and make it as special as we can. Our Church buildings are available to all who live within our parish. One of our Ministry Team will be pleased to advise you.

When making plans with the local Undertaker, ask about using the local church for the service. This has many advantages especially the opportunity for people who otherwise are unable to travel to the crematorium being able to come and pay their last respects. This can be a great comfort to the family, being surrounded by friends in a very special way.

We will be pleased to assist in whatever way we can,
